Jacquie Schneider

Jacquie Schneider is a member of the Calgary Morning Toastmasters.  She got her start in the organization with the Grande Prairie Morning Toastmasters in 1989.  Jacquie has been a member of club teams, division teams, district teams, and was one of the team members of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors in 2010-2012.  In 2008, Jacquie led a team of 300 volunteers to host the International Convention in Calgary.  Jacquie has been a trainer for the Girl Guides of Canada for over 30 years.  In her professional life, Jacquie delivers over 200 presentations a year on public health topics as a <insert job title and potentially her company >.

Working together in a team can be both a dream and a nightmare.  Learn some basics about team formation, working as a team and strategies for conflict resolution.  This interactive session will have you working with your teammates to learn some strategies you can take back to your club, your volunteer organization, or your workplace.

Yemisi Iyilade

Ultimately, we get stuck and someone or something challenges the way we look at situations in our lives. In this session Yemisi Iyilade will lead you to access your leadership level and think of ways to intentionally make impact around you. You will learn ways to lead with the toastmasters program and influence your community. When you lead yourself, you influence the way you feel, what you do, your momentum and impact in your community. Whatever you accomplish in life will be restricted or propelled by your self- leadership ability. Join Yemisi Iyilade, for a fascinating journey getting to know and understand you, and learn the skills to increase your leading ability, and ultimately your potential as a leader.
