Lance Miller
World Champion of Public Speaking

Lance Miller is an award-winning public speaker and trainer. When he is on stage or behind a podium, he brings his distinctive talent and views on life that has shaped his philosophy and understanding of the world.

Lance graduated from Michigan State University with a Degree in Food Systems, Economics and Management. He began working as a teenager in his family’s milk and ice cream company, where he learned real life lessons. Working in the processing plant, running delivery routes, and managing retail stores instilled in him the values of hard work and importance of interpersonal communication when handling employees and customers.

His unique perspective is that of someone who has lived life. He has an extensive background in business. He has sat atop 14,000 ft. peaks. He has rafted some of the roughest whitewater in the U.S, sailed across the Atlantic from the Virgin Islands to Norway, and piloted his own aircraft for hundreds of hours. Lance has scuba dived under frozen lakes in the middle of winter and hitchhiked through Europe. He is a philanthropist who has worked in numerous humanitarian causes around the world.

Monique Levesque-Pharoah DTM
International Director for Region 4

Monique Levesque-Pharoah, DTM of Winnipeg, Canada, is manager, sponsorship and events at Health Sciences Centre Foundation in Winnipeg, Canada where she has worked since 2015. Levesque-Pharoah is responsible for identifying and implementing individual and corporate sponsor strategies to meet her organization’s strategic, operational and fundraising goals.

Levesque-Pharoah holds a diploma in Human Resources Management with Honours from Red River College in Winnipeg. She was a selected profile leader in the book, Why Winnipeg? A Profile of Community Leadership with Leadership Winnipeg in June 2015. She is a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals.

“A Toastmaster since 1994, Levesque-Pharoah is a charter member of her home club, Vital Words, in Winnipeg. She has held a number of high-profile leadership positions within Toastmasters and has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation—the highest level of educational achievement in the organization. She was also the recipient of the Presidential Citation award in 2015.

She says, “Whether it is giving an effective media interview for a charity I represent, using the High Performance Leadership Module to successfully launch a new event or recruiting and working effectively with volunteers, I have to credit Toastmasters.”

As a member of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Levesque-Pharoah is a “working ambassador” for the organization. She works with the Board to develop, support and modify the policies and procedures that guide Toastmasters International in fulfilling its mission.
