Club Leadership Training

Just a few of the Transferable Skills you can gain serving as a Toastmasters’ officer:
President: Team building, Conflict Resolution, Negations/Project management
Vice President of Education: Strategic Planning, Time Management, Incentives
Vice President of Membership: Personnel Development, Marketing and Sales
Vice President of Public Relations: Media Relations, Campaign Development
Club Secretary: Report Writing, Historian/Librarian, Document Control
Club Treasurer: Budget Preparation, Revenue: Tracking, Forecasting, Generation,
Sergeant at Arms: Interpersonal/Communication Skills, Consulting and Event Planning
Registration: 8:30 a.m.
Start time: 9:00 a.m.
End time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: AECOM 8th Street & Preston Avenue
Parking: FREE in parking lot and on 7th street.
What to bring? Lawn chair, water bottle, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, pen, and notepad.
What to wear? Comfortable clothes and shoes to be on green space.  Be prepared to walk one block between AECOM and green space on 7th Street.
*Officers are expected to attend the whole day to receive credit, given that officers are leaders, leadership training is equally important as officer training – plus networking with your colleagues and support team.
