September District Officer Training is scheduled in 3 parts (detailed agenda to be published soon):

  • Part 1 – September 14th – Online –> Agenda include Area Expectations, Club Visits, Effective Division and Area Council Meetings.
  • Part 2 – September 20th – Online –> This will be an expansion of the first agenda, looking at specific areas and the relative challenges in each area.
  • Part 3 – September 21 – In-person –> We will induct the new district officers, present pins and ribbons, have a dinner and the Hybrid DEC meeting. venue to be confirmed.

District Officer Training (DOT)
DOT equips District leaders—Area Directors, Division Directors, and District officers—with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to serve clubs effectively. Training covers leadership skills, role responsibilities, and District priorities, helping leaders succeed in their roles and strengthen clubs across District 99.

District Executive Committee (DEC) Meeting
The DEC is comprised of the District Trio, Division Directors, Area Directors, Public Relations Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, and the Immediate Past District Director. This group conducts the business of the District between council meetings, ensuring progress toward the District Mission and Success Plan.

District Council
The District Council is the District’s governing body, comprising the DEC, all Club Presidents, and Vice Presidents-Education. Council members vote on key decisions such as the District budget, officer elections, and major policy items that guide the District’s direction.
