Of the Year Forms

Each year the District recognizes those individuals whose exemplary performance is an ideal that all Toastmasters can aspire.

These awards are recognized at all levels from Club to District, in order to access the nominations above the club level the following forms are to be used, additional written submissions are encouraged as back-up for these forms.

These forms may be updated from time to time and the most up-to-date versions will always be on this web site. All forms are in fillable pdf format for ease of use.

Rookie of the Year

To recognize and honor a new Toastmaster in District 99 who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Toastmasters standards of excellence. This Toastmaster will have shown improved performance in communication skills and will have contributed in other ways to the Toastmaster organization.

Toastmaster of the Year

To recognize and honour that Toastmaster in District 99 who achieves and maintains the highest standard of excellence as a member of Toastmasters International. The recipient will be that Toastmaster in District 99 who most exemplifies the ideal Toastmaster. 3

Public Relations Program of the Year

To recognize and honor the Club Vice President Public Relations or designated member or members of a club in District 99 that creates and maintains the highest standards of a club public relations program.

President of the Year

To recognize and honour the Club Officer in District 99 who achieves and maintains the highest standards of excellence in the performance of duties in the office of the Club President

Area Director of the Year

To recognize and honor that Area Director, in District 99, who achieves and maintains the highest standards of excellence in the performance of duties in the office of Area Director.

Division Director of the Year

To recognize and honor that Division Director, in District 99, who achieves and maintains the highest standards of excellence in the performance of duties in the office of Division Director.

The following two survey forms are intended to assist in the selection process for the Area and Division Director Of the Year awards. They are provided here for reference purposes and for regular review by officers and members during the year.

A link to an online survey with the same questions that are on the above forms will be sent to the appropriate Club Presidents (for the Area Director of the Year) later in May and to the Area Directors (for the Division Director of the Year), in early June.
