General Information
Annual contests, as indicated herein, shall be conducted by the District.
All contests shall be conducted in accordance with the rules prescribed by Toastmasters International.
Timing
The club level contests shall be held at least two weeks prior to the area contest, the area-level contests shall be held at least two weeks prior to the division contest and the division level contests shall be held two to three weeks prior to the district level contest unless approval for a shorter time period has been provided by the District Director.

Timing of Speech Contests
The International Speech Contest and one other contest chosen in rotation will be held each year at the Spring Conference.
As permitted by the rules for each of the speech contests Areas that have four or less clubs are eligible to send two contestants per club to compete in the Area contest. The number of clubs in the Area is as defined in the rules covering the contest.
As permitted by the rules for each of the speech contests, Divisions that have four or less Areas are eligible to send two contestants per Area to compete in the Division contest.
