Hello 2024-2025 Club Officers!
For the 2024-2025 Toastmasters year in District 99, to earn credit for Club Officer Training (COT), Club Officers must attend a minimum of two hours of training*. One hour will be leadership training. One hour will be role-specific training. For Club Officers who hold more than one position, they must attend each role-specific training to get credit for each Club Officer role.
This applies to both Round 1 training (June 1 – August 31, 2024) as well as Round 2 (November 1, 2024 – February 28, 2025).
For example, a Club Officer is the VP Membership on one club, and the Treasurer in a second club. This Club Officer attends a 2-hour online Club Officer Training session and goes to the breakout room for the VP Membership role. They will receive COT credit for their VP Membership role. To receive credit for their Treasurer training, they must attend the 1-hour breakout room for the Treasurer role. They will then receive credit for COT for their Treasurer role.
Training, including Club Officer Training (COT) sessions and Toastmasters Leadership Institutes (TLIs), will be posted on the D99 Website Calendar (https://d99tm.org/events/).
* Remember this is the minimum requirement for training. You are encouraged to attend all the training sessions that appeal to you and that will support you to be the best leader you can be.
